Mr. and Mrs. Maier are a couple like the Jones' or the Smiths. They are forever getting caught up in unpleasant and above all embarrassing situations. Their grim determination and their naive gentility help them to win the day again and again - but only just - much to the amusement of the audience.

Sabine Maier and Yogi Mohr, the creators of these figures, have lived and worked together since 1988. In this time they have put their stamp as comedians, jugglers, acrobats and musicians on a great number of projects and productions of "New Circus", variety and comic theatre. Solo or as a duo, but above all in the ensemble with other artists, they are tireless in their pursuit of new forms of good entertainment.
